Tour itinerary

1st Day | Lisbon

Your tour guide will pick you up from the airport and take you on an introductory half-day tour, starting at one of the city’s most beautiful viewpoints. During the day you will pass through some of the oldest neighborhoods of the city and visit the best sites. Located in ‘Praça do Comércio’ is one of the largest squares in Europe and for many centuries the main entrance to the city of Lisbon.

2nd Day | Lisbon and Sintra + Sunset Sailing Tour (2 hours)

During the morning you will visit the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and due to its beauty is one of the most visited places in Portugal. In the afternoon you will visit the emblematic district of Belém. While taking a brief stroll through the historic center, you will find yourself surrounded by old houses that have been converted into small stores and bakeries.

Sunset Sailing Tour

At the end of your tour, you will enjoy the sunset as you sail through the city of Lisbon on board a sailboat on the river Tagus. During the tour, you will get to know Lisbon from a different perspective.

3rd day | Óbidos, Nazaré and Aveiro

This day tour of Western Portugal will offer you an unforgettable experience. You will discover the typical handicrafts, the rich gastronomy, the traditions, the aromas and flavors, in a unique atmosphere that characterizes this region. Throughout the day you will visit the medieval town of Óbidos, Nazaré known for the “big wave phenomenon”, currently holding the world record for the largest surfed wave, 86ft, and Aveiro considered the Venice of Portugal, here you will take a boat ride through the city’s canals.

4th Day | Porto

During your visit to the city of Porto, you will explore the history and immense charm of the city. You will see the Dom Luis metal bridge, and also visit the Port Wine Cellar where you will taste the amazing and unique Port wine. The Douro River Cruise is the opportunity to see the fantastic scenery aboard a typical local boat called ‘Rabelo’. You will also visit São Bento railway station, the Clérigos Church and Tower, São Francisco Church which has been classified as a National Monument and Unesco World Heritage Site. Depending on your interest and pace, we strongly recommend a visit to the Porto Cathedral and the Stock Exchange Palace.

5th Day | Douro

Explore one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal: The Douro Valley, is classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Here you will find several vineyards planted on the mountains slops. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and visit local wineries where you can taste the famous Douro wine.

6th Day | Coimbra and Tomar

Discover two of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, in Portugal: Coimbra and Tomar. Coimbra Known as the city of the students, offers centuries of culture and history. Here you can visit the oldest university of Europe and its world-famous library and walk the downtown city centre. Next destination, Tomar is One of the historic centres of Portugal with the highest concentration of monuments. In the town centre you’ll visit the churches of ‘São João Baptista’ and of ‘Santa Maria do Olival’ and the oldest synagogue in Portugal. The highlight of the day is the Convent of Christ classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1983. The former headquarters of the Order of Christ is set up in the former Knights Templars headquarters in 1357 where it will remain for centuries
