Considered the most noble grape varieties of the demarcated region of young wine, cultivated particularly in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço. It is characterized by intense color, straw, citrus with reflexes, intense, distinctive aroma and complex.
Historic town of Northern Portugal, located on the border with Spain, separated by the Rio Minho, and surrounded by walls on top of a hill, boasting its defensive nature.
Village known for its wine Alvarinho, its customs and traditions. Here you can get to know various monuments that show the rich history of this town: the Romanesque Church of the 12th century, the churches of ‘Misericórdia’ and ‘Santo António dos Capuchos’, the Military Fortress, and the many and stately manor houses that were built in the region.
Beautiful village, county seat of the Northern part of Portugal, set in a mountainous region, watered by the Minho’s river.
Opened in 1997. This is a space of promotion of the region’s traditional and cultural roots as the Alvarinho wine, handcrafts and other typical products.
