1. A dip in Hell’s Pit waterfall

3. Hike the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail
Doing the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail is an amazing introduction of the Algarve’s iconic coastline. Elected as one of the best hikes in Europe by European Best Destinations, the trail starts at Praia do Vale de Centeanes and continues along 5.7km of breathtaking coastal views.
The most famous stop along the walk is the Praia de Benagil, home to the amazing Benagil sea cave. Perfect place for a break at the beach or to take a relaxing boat tour to the Benagil sea cave.
4. Taste some tradicional sweets from Algarve
Portugal is well-known for its rich desserts and pastries. In the Algarve region, the most famous and unique ones are called ‘Almond fruits’ and are made with marzipan filled with sweet egg cream. These sweets come in all sorts of shapes (usually fruits, vegetables or animals) and in bright colors.The origin of this homemade recipe is linked to the tradition and customs of the region. Today, you can still taste these amazing homemade sweets in pastry shops all over the Algarve.

5. Ocean Revival Underwater park
Ready for some underwater tourism? Spend a day visiting the Ocean Revival Underwater Park, located off the coastal town of Portimão. Four warships from the Portuguese Navy were sunk creating the largest artificial reef structure in the world.
