Lisbon, the Portuguese Capital
Starting your trip in Lisbon, the hard thing will be to choose where to go. Being the most populated city of the country, it has plenty of places for lovebirds to enjoy their free time. So, if you´re not sure which places you should visit, maybe a private walking tour around the city can be a good start. A local guide will show both famous places and the hidden secrets. If you want to take the perfect couple picture, the only thing you have to do is choose which hill you want to up. The city has seven hills and from the top of any of them you can enjoy an amazing view, but we recommend a few:
– S.Jorge Castle, one of the oldest places in town. From there you can see the Tagus river, the 25th of April Bridge and the downtown area.
– S.Pedro de Alcântara Viewpoint, on the opposite hill of the castle. Going up there, you can enjoy a cold drink while enjoying a summer sunset, looking into the castle and downtown Lisbon.
– Senhora do Monte Viewpoint, one of the highest spots in town. From there you can see most of the city, including S.Jorge castle, the riverfront, downtown and uptown Lisbon.
