The construction of one of the country’s largest Christmas crib is being done in a fast way for a long time, so that their more than four thousand pieces shine throughout the Christmas season. You shouldn’t miss it!
Lisboa: Christmas at FIL
From 7 to 11 December, the International Fair of Lisbon (FIL) will hold an event dedicated exclusively to Christmas, which includes a number of initiatives: the Christmas Market, the Outlet Market, the Chocolate Market and FIL Diverlandia. The party will have animations for kids, Christmas concerts and workshops.
This is the ideal place to experience a range of Chirstmas activities, sample some delicacies, have fun and find great gifts for the whole family.

Still in Lisbon
In December, the capital of Portugal, gains new colors. Throughout the city you can see thousands of Christmas lights that decorates the city and warm the heart. The Christmas tree, the highest of our country, will be placed in the square of Terreiro do Paço. Walking through the streets you’ll see a scene of a Christmas tale and at the Eduardo VII Park, it is possible to live the Christmas Village: full of magic and brightness and of course, the place where Santa is located and the Christmas crib with Baby Jesus.
Monsaraz: Christmas Crib Village
At Christmas time, Alentejo medieval town of Monsaraz becomes a Christmas crib village. Among the streets and alleys you’ll have the opportunity to see an exhibition of 40 pictures from the Christmas crib which will stay until January 6th 2017.
Óbidos: Christmas Village
From November 30th to January 1st it will be possible to live in a magical environment transformed into a real fairy-tale castle, with illuminated walls and dressed in blue streets. To welcome the thousands of visitors there will be a large Christmas crib.

Porto: a colorful Christmas
In the north the cold you feels is replaced by the warmth of this beautiful city that has a lot to offer in this holiday season. There are several initiatives around the city: music, illuminations, street entertainment, shows, traditional fairs and Christmas markets. In December Christmas markets promise to take the city with the opportunity to taste the gastronomic products, make unique Christmas shopping and live in a cozy atmosphere.
